1) Afterschool Only
(for Mt. Laurel Public School families)
6 afterschool training sessions and 1 intersquad track meet
You can enroll child in the World Athlete Afterschool Program. We meet once at week for 6 weeks. Each session is about 45 minutes. Children report to the World Athlete coach immediately after school ends. Children will be instructed where to meet the coach. Each session is 45 minutes. Since there is no bus transportation, parents need to pick up their child after each training session ends. Children in Aftercare will be delivered to the Aftercare assistants at the end of training. There will be an intersquad track meet on a Sunday morning in mid/late May. The cost is $139.
2) Afterschool Only and Travel Team
6 afterschool training sessions, 6 evening training sessions and 4-5 local community track meets
You can enroll your athletes in the Afterschool Program and participate in the World Athlete Spring Travel Team. In addition to the weekly afterschool session, athletes can attend one of the 2 weekly evening training sessions and be a member of the World Athlete Spring Travel Team. The Travel Team is a member of the SJTFA alliance and competes in 4-5 local developmental track meets. The cost is $189.
3) Evening Program and Travel Team
12 evening training sessions and 4-5 local community track meets
You can enroll your athlete in the Evening Program. Children will have 2 weekly evening training sessions and be a member of the World Athlete Spring Travel Team. Training is mostly at Laurel Acres Park in Mt. Laurel. At this point, it looks like the Evening program will be on Mondays and Thursdays. There are no residency requirements to be in the Evening program.
The cost is $189.
Evening Program starts the week of March 24. World Athlete will be Afterschool in Mt. Laurel Public Schools starting March 31.
